Luminox was founded in 1989 in the small town of San Rafael, California, at the Pacific Coast driven by a commitment to offer cutting-edge sports watches. The officer in charge of procurement for the Navy SEALs, Chief Nick North and Luminox worked together to develop a watch specifically for the SEALs. The ultra-light weight and the extreme robustness were the features that turned the Original 3000 Series into the Navy SEALS’s favourite. Our Navy SEAL series continues to be licensed by the U.S. department of the Navy SEALs and remains one of our most popular collections.
